Well I have the best news since Cider restructured our Neighborhood Watch to include monthly safety instruction meetings taught by yours truly! (Which nobody has yet attended--I GUESS I'M THE ONLY MOMMY OUT THERE WHO CARES ABOUT PROTECTING HER BABIES!!!! But you know me, I don't judge other moms who aren't capable of love to the same level as THIS mommy). After receiving some of your craft submissions, I have chosen a few of the CUTEST ones for our craft contest and I'm posting them here today! PLEASE VOTE FOR THE CUTEST CRAFT!!! YOU CAN VOTE ON THE TOP RIGHT OF THE BLOG!!!! I will leave the voting open until Wednesday at midnight.
Whichever craft gets the most votes is going to go in our new "Cutest Crafts" Tab!!! More cute craft competitions to come (if ever I can find enough time between Fortify's award ceremonies!!!:))!!!!!

#1: Krishelle's "Pepsi Doll" |

#2: Eliza's "7 Up Doll" (Which you should NEVER give to your children) |
|
#3: Daniel's "Napkin Head Doll" |
|
#4: Melissa's "Beach Doll" |
Oh my, this is so difficult! They are all so very cute in their own...um...unique and special ways. It's between #2 and #4. #2's whimsical facial expression pulls at my heart, but I think #4's quirky hair-do takes the cake. That, and the amazing broom decoration!Props are everything.
ReplyDeleteIt's so amazing what mommies can do when they try to mimic me!!!
DeleteTrudy (#4) is one hard working mother who is ready for anything from a good house sweeping to a relaxing day reapplying sunscreen to her little bottle babies at the beach. Notice she's made of glass not plastic because it's better for the environment!!!
ReplyDeleteNumber 4 definitely. That broom.... Its just so.... So.... breathtaking
ReplyDeleteOh,they're all so darling! How could I ever choose? Eli, you have so many creative ideas for your children, I am so excited for your book to come out so I can learn even more from you!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should have a Craft Book specifically to go along with my parenting book!!! I just have too much information and so little time!
DeleteEli, thank you so much for posting these cutest of crafts. I have to go with #4 with her whimsical potato-y head, blue bikini top, and broom (always reminding us that a mommy's work is never done). I have become so inspired to become a better mommy, just like you. In fact, I'll be teaching a neighborhood bottle doll workshop so that some of the less creative mommies in the neighborhood will have the opportunity to have some cute things too.
ReplyDeleteGOOD LUCK!!! I can't believe how many mommies are inspired by my incredible example (well, actually, I CAN ;))!!!!!!
DeleteMama E gets it done.
ReplyDeleteWhile all the crafts have just blown my mind away-- Melissa's Beach Doll has a certain air of respectability that I just can't ignore. She shows mom's everywhere that they can perform the usual routine of a mother- while being relaxed and having fun at the same time. Truly an inspiration
